Sometimes all you need is a good block party, especially when that’s what you grew up doing in your neighborhood during the summertime. Kristyn and Creighton knew that’s what they wanted for their wedding but, to pay honor Creighton’s job in the Military, they held a small intimate ceremony at Bar Marco in the Strip District before hand. This was only my second time capturing a wedding with a sword send off and it was such a cool experience. After their quick exchanging of vows and the traditional knot tying to symbolize forever, we took a quick detour at the newest hotel in Lawrenceville – the TRYP – to take some cool bar and hotel photos. Then, we headed to the block party of the century. Kristyn had the most insane outfit change and when I tell you I could NOT stop taking photos of the two of them, I am not exaggerating. I still think about these photos and if these two didn’t live halfway across the country from me, I would be having them model for me weekly.
