PSA – always invite your pets!!! This session with Jade and Carlos was during an intense heat wave but, these two (and their cutie pie dog) didn’t mind getting close and cozy the whole time. We went to the wildflower fields at St. Vincent College in Latrobe and to be honest, I HAVE to make a return for another session because it’s such an underrated spot. We popped champagne, cozied up on a blanket, and even had a nice 3.5 second breeze for the perfect hair in the wind moment.
If you didn’t know, I photographed Jade and Carlos’s proposal as well a year prior to this session in North Park. When I tell you I was SOO nervous – phew. What I didn’t know is how close we would all become. They later asked me to photograph their wedding in Colorado (which is deserves it’s own blog post and you’ll see why) and it was honestly the highlight of my career so far. I don’t get to these them much which makes me the most sad but, they are hands down some of the kindest, most loving humans I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
