One of my very favorite things to photograph is a proposal. I won’t lie, I also get butterflies while I wait for the couple to turn the corner because it’s SOOO exciting what’s about to happen!! Most of my proposal shoots turn into mini engagement sessions which most of it is spent saying “ahhh you’re engaged!!” or constantly looking at your shiny new ring. Scott had reached out to me about proposing to his partner, Ben, but told me that Ben also wanted to get down on one knee – a DOUBLE PROPOSAL!!! They brought along their bestie to hold the ring that Ben would propose with but what he didn’t know was that Scott was also going to get down on one knee! So there were a lot of elements of surprise. It was the sweetest moment followed by us going up to my favorite garage rooftop and snapping some photos of them before they went and enjoyed their favorite take out together.
