If I had to describe this wedding in one word, I think it would be…..magical. I had never been to Willowbrook, so I was insanely excited and overjoyed when I walked in to massive windows and natural light in the reception space. There’s also a two separate spaces for you to get ready in – a house which you can rent and stay over night – and a little cabin on the other side of the property. This wedding had all the ingredients for a perfect wedding (in my humble opinion) there were dogs (YES plural), beautiful decor on the walls for detail shots, and a stunning field to frolic through – which if you know me, you know I love running through a wide open field at sunset. I quickly learned during their engagement session that photographing them was wildly easy because they are naturals in front of the camera, so shooting their bridal portraits was a true highlight of the day.
If you’ve looked into Willowbrook Wedding Venue for your big day, I cannot say enough good things about it. The staff is so wonderful and the space itself provides for so many different vibes. I love that they had an outdoor area downstairs where guests could play yard games or sit by the fire and roast marshmallows. You also can’t go wrong when the venue has a getting ready space on site, which I find super important so that you don’t have to worry about travel.
