In the heart of The Strip District, The Art Room is a hidden gem that offers such a unique and intimate setting for a wedding. I had the honor of photographing there for the first time this past wedding season and I quickly fell in love with this space. From the stunning brick wall to it’s moody, industrial interior, it’s the ideal spot for couples seeking a cozy yet chic venue.
The day began just seconds away at the AC Hotel which is a convenient location if you’re looking for somewhere close that everyone can get ready in the same place and your out of town guests can stay. After getting ready, Kassia made her way down the hall to Blake’s room for a quiet, heartfelt first look. It was honestly one of the most perfect first looks I’ve ever captured. The moment was simple, yet so full of emotion. Just two people in love, sharing a peaceful and intimate moment together before the whirlwind of the day began.
Kassia and Blake chose to keep their ceremony small and intimate, surrounded by about 15 of their closest friends and family. Upon everyone arriving, a dirty martini was handed to each guest for them to sip and enjoy during the ceremony. which I thought was the best personal touch ever. It was a celebration of family, love and collective martini cheers before their first kiss has husband and wife. Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests transitioned into a lively reception, complete with a live band that brought the energy to the next level. It all flowed so effortlessly.
One word that comes to mind when I think about Kassia and Blake’s wedding day is ‘cozy’ which is not a word I typically associate with the chaos of a wedding day. But in this case, it perfectly captured the vibe of their celebration. There’s something incredibly special about The Art Room because it’s the kind of place where you can make the day your own. The space’s industrial vibe is softened by thoughtful details, making it the ideal setting for couples who want to blend elegance with a little edge.
I cannot make this post without also shouting out all of the amazing staff that make weddings so perfect. The Art Rooms staff is incredible – from the delicious martinis that flowed all night long, to making sure the candles were lit and champagne flutes were full, they are what make the day run smoothly. Along with the venues staff, Jade from Joyful Events is a DREAM to work with. She ensured that the timeline stayed on track, that every tablescape looked exquisite, and everything in between. Her communication leading up to and throughout the day was something I appreciated the most and I cannot wait to work with her again this 2025 season.
